Here is my picture for day 18,this is a ring my mother got from a "friend" back in the late 70's it's from the US Army, but i don't really know anything about it. *headscratch*
Yesterdays picture was the backside of a calender, i don't think i have to tell you guys anything about the rule of thirds, but you can always ask wikipedia. :)

I love te ring! I thought it was the top metallic bit of a wine or spirits bottle. Love the soft out-of-focus area at the back and the off-edge composition and colours too. Nice one.

I thought the ring might be a belt buckle at first...the soft focus around it really makes the detail stand out. I love the tiger...he looks so non-chalant.

Nice detail on the ring but I find the background distracting. The photo of the tiger is great - what a lovely relaxing shot.
